Loosen the “Slider” or “Drop-out” bolts first. (These are the bolts located on the sides of the dropouts/bike)
Once these bolts are just loose enough to allow the dropouts to slide forward and back, you will then address the “Tension” bolts. (These are the bolts whose heads are facing the Front of the bike)
Alternating sides, tighten the tension bolts, taking any slack out of the belt before fine tuning final belt tension.
Tighten the drive side tension bolt a quarter to half a turn at a time until recommend tension is reached - see Gates CarbonDrive app for tension gauge and recommend tension range.
Tighten the brake side tension bolt a quarter to half turn until the centerline of the tire lines up with the rear center of the seat-tube. Re-check belt tension and adjust accordingly keeping the center line of the tire centered on the seat-tube.
Now you can tighten the main Slider/dropout bolts alternating sides, as well as bolts on the same side, to reach the desired 12nm-15nm of torque.
